BIOGRAPHY
IBRAHIM UGUR SABAZ

Since my high school years, I have been deeply interested in visual communication. This interest first led me to work at a television channel and later to pursue formal education in film and media. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television and Cinema as well as a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication and European Studies, which provided me with both a strong technical foundation and a broader analytical understanding of media, society, and communication.
Driven by my passion for both still and moving images, I began working professionally in the film industry in various roles, including Video Operator, Digital Imaging Technician (DIT), Focus Puller, Gimbal/Camera Operator, and as an all-round Video Producer. I have extensive hands-on experience with professional camera systems such as ARRI Alexa SXT, ARRI Alexa Mini, ARRI Alexa Mini LF, RED Dragon, RED Epic, Sony FS7, and Sony Venice, as well as with a wide range of lighting setups and technical workflows.
What motivates me most is the process of harmonizing light, emotion, and technical requirements to create compelling visual narratives. During my master’s studies in Germany, I worked on commercials and large-scale productions for clients and broadcasters such as Netflix, Amazon, ZDF, and RTL, including projects like Deutschland 89, Maxton Hall, Wild Republic, and 1899.
I am currently based in Berlin, Germany, and continue to capture moments with the same passion, curiosity, and commitment that first drew me to visual storytelling.
